Top Monster Dealers and Reps Honored at the Monster Retailer Awards

[blog entry image]
Brisbane, Calif, April 3, 2008 -- Pro MI music retailers from around the country gathered at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen on Friday, January 18, 2008 to see who would be honored with the 5rd Annual Monster Dealer Awards. Mark Posgay, The National Sales Manager for Monster Pro MI products, presided over the evening's festivities and presented the awards. Singer, songwriter and producer, Ellis Hall, followed the awards presentation with a concert. As a performer, Hill has opened for such music legends as The Temptations, Natalie Cole and Herbie Hancock.

The winners of the Monster Retailer and Awards are chosen in a variety of categories including the top award, The National Retailer of the Year.

Three days earlier, on January 15, 2008, Monster held its 12th annual Monsterous Pro MI Rep Awards to honor some of its top performing firms. Mark Posgay handed out the awards and presided over a give-away of plaques, the heavily coveted Monster Connector Award, and checks for the top winners. Following the presentation, drinks and food were served to the entire group of Monster Reps.

"Monster is privileged to work with the best rep firms in the Pro MI industry," said Posgay.  "It is through their hard work and Monsterous dedication that Monster and Monster dealers are so successful."

Image Galleries

Last, but definitely not least - we've added Image Galleries! This exciting new feature will allow you to create a customized image gallery for your forum thread, article, download, group discussion, or blog entry.

You'll be able to add and remove photos, reorder your photos, have custom captions, and batch upload photos from your computer to the gallery to save time and effort. You'll need Flash on your computer to use the gallery feature.

Remember that if you upload a photo or photos directly to the gallery, you'll also need to upload it in the article to use it there. However, if you upload an image to the article, it will automatically be available in the gallery. Also note that if you are linking in your article/forum post/etc. to an image found elsewhere, it will not automatically be available in the gallery, and may have to be uploaded manually. Once your gallery is completed, you'll see it at the top of your content item.

Here's some photos for additional details. Click on the images to view them in the gallery, to give you a feel for how it works:

Thank you all for participating in the site. We're excited to see your new image galleries! The possibilities are endless!

Monster iSoniCast iPod Wireless Audio Bridge Now a Reality

[blog entry image]

After months of waiting and wondering if it would ever see the light of day, Monster Cable has finally begun shipping their all new iSoniCast iPod Wireless Audio Bridge.

The bridge utilizes a two-piece transmitter and receiver design to wirelessly connect your iPod to your home stereo system. With the iSoniCast, the iPod itself becomes the remote control, foregoing the need to fire up a TV or use a separate remote, giving you the ease of use you've come to expect from your iPod. It's also said to be battery friendly with its low power consumption design.

As with any Monster accessory, special attention has been given to sound quality. The iSoniCast features "proprietary" 2.4GHz wireless technology with intelligent frequency hopping designed for extended range, great sound quality, and minimal interference.

It will set you back $99, but freeing your iPod from FM transmitters and adapter cables will be worth every penny to those who want the ultimate mobility and flexibility for home stereo playback.
