I have a few Monster Rock, Monster Jazz and Monster Bass cables and find a tremendous tonal difference between them. Enough that I buy into the rock/jazz/bass thing and direct my friends to buy them. I'd like to hear if anyone in this community agrees with me or am I crazy?

my cousin is a guitar player in a band and he swears by them

there is a detectable sound quality difference between them and cheaper cables

Guitar Gear Heads has some good reviews of these:

I agree with you. I play bass with a 12 ft Monster Bass cable, and have notice a much richer tone and more kick than compared to a basic patch cord. I think what helps is that all these cables are designed for a specific purpose and frequency range that cheaper cables can't compare with. And the quality shielding probably doesn't hurt either. :-)
