I need a digital coax cable for my DVD-receiver hookup - what's the advantage of getting a Monster-branded one?

I am curious about thiis too.

There is a differrence in analog & DIgital cables, but what does Monster bring to the table?

It depends on the type of cable you are looking at. In general, monster digital coax cables have braided shielding and/or double layered shielding, which provide isolation from EM or RF interference. That interference can cause signal degradation which could cause inaccurate signal transfer or audio "jitter". If you run these cable close to power sources or unshielded power cables, this can cause bad audio...

Hope this helps.
