Can anyone please tell me who is the head of packaging at Monster and does anyone know the full address for Monster's Headquarters.

I'm writing a letter and i want to make sure it reaches the right person.

Hi in ter, Monster Cable does watch the threads here at Monster Community, anything you post here will probably be read by the correct person should you wish to share your thoughts with the community. I'll also respond to your specific query via PM.

Love to hear what your experience with the packaging was.  What happened?

i believe there's just too much...so much plastic to cut through and most of it gets thrown in the garbage so its really just a lot of waste

in my letter i'll send a design of what packaging can look like

thats constructive critism

I can definitely appreciate that criticism.  I was quite happy a few years ago when PC games started coming in the "half-size" boxes.  It was always so wasteful to get those big full-size boxes that only had a single CD/DVD and a small manual rattling around inside.  Hopefully we'll see more package efficiencies from packaged goods manufacturers in the future.  Glad to see you getting your voice heard!

I am not entirely sure of this, but my view is the plastic and packaging is to protect the contents from damage and blemishes which might occur from shipping and handling.  Cheers!

Some of the plastic packaging is starting to offer perforated panels on the back, so instead of having to cut through dense layers of plastic (which often leaves sharp, jagged edges that slice up my hands) you can just pull the back open and get your stuff out.  My Logitech universal remote was packaged this way, and it was a relief.

Hopefully more manufacturers will start employing this type of packaging.
