I lost my TV as well on Saturday. I called Monster and started a claim. When I called they wanted to know the product (HT700) the approx. purchase date, and where purchased. After all that information was collected the agent told me that he was going to send me a Warranty Claim Package which would include all instrutions to file a Warranty Claim.
Supposedly I will be receiving this by the end of the week and I am supposed to fill out what happend and provide receipt of purchase and get repair estimates and send all this back along with the power strip. At which time they will analyze the information and inspect the unit to determine whether the claim will be paid. According to the agent if the claim is payable they will provide you with the lessor of the repairs or market value.
Hopefully this helps ya so far. I will post again once I receive the warranty claim packet in the next few days.

We had a lightning storm Friday night and I have lost my big screen TV (52"), DVD player and Wii, all were plugged into an HTS1100 Power Strip. A few other items plugged into the same strip are OK (Home Theatre receiver, VCR).
Anyone have experience with filing a claim with Monster and how that process works?
