Monster Unveils M1000HD HDMI Cable Rated at Fifth and Ultimate Speed Rating

Not long ago, Monster Cable introduced the world's first speed rated HDMI cables, giving consumers an easy way to compare and choose HDMI products. The Monster HDMI speed rating system consisted of four levels (standard, high, advanced-high, and ultra-high), and the associated colors and badges make finding the right cable easy. However, at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, Monster unveiled a fifth and final level to the speed system designed to highlight the ultimate in cable perfomance. This new level, aptly named "Ultimate High Speed" is currently only given to the M1000HD, a no-comprimise cable that is the "embodiment of today’s most advanced connectivity technologies, resulting in incredible performance, reliability and durability."

The M1000HD

The Monster Cable M1000HD HDMI cable is designed to “future-proof” any home entertainment system; there is no Monster Cable that’s faster or of higher quality construction. Customers who pick up the top-notch interconnect needn't wonder whether their HDMI cable will have adequate bandwidth for their application. This digital audio/video interface boasts impressive specs, delivering uncompressed high definition video (1080p/60Hz and beyond), 12-bit color, eight channels of digital audio for 7.1 surround sound and an integrated control channel - all in one cable.

Tack on Monster’s Cable for Life replacement offer, and the M1000HD has everything needed to provide confidence. Simply, if the components customers purchase in the future ever surpass the performance of the M1000HD they buy today, Monster will upgrade the cable absolutely free. Not a shabby deal in the end.
